Discover our top-class permanent exhibition in an expert guided tour. The encounter between historical industrial architecture and contemporary art is staged in a fascinating and spectacular way. Spacious installations by international artists such as Joseph Kosuth, Mischa Kuball, Jan van Munster, Keith Sonnier, François Morellet, Maurizio Nannucci, Rebecca Horn or James Turrell have transformed the underground passages, cooling cellars and fermentation basins of a former brewery into breathtaking light spaces.

Discover our temporary exhibition “LIGHT DIALOGUES – works from SCHAUWERK Sindelfingen”, as well as highlights from our outstanding permanent exhibition, on an expert-led tour.
The exhibition “LIGHT DIALOGUES” opens up new perspectives on the medium of light and brings works from two collections into an exciting dialogue. Around 20 iconic works showcase a variety of artistic strategies in a concentrated form – ranging from key historical works to contemporary approaches. Through the three thematic areas of form, colour and sign, visitors can experience how light shapes space, influences perception and creates meaning.

A tour especially for children up to 12 years!
The museum makes the visit an exciting experience for children and accompanying adults. In the family tour you move around together 10 meters underground in a labyrinth of luminous cellars and dark tunnels, and explore the light art installations in a child-friendly way.
